Currently, the remains of Mr. Nguyen Lan Cuong have been brought to the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong. The visitation ceremony for the late Associate Professor, Doctor, and musician will take place at 1:30 p.m. on May 8.

He then received his PhD in 1994 and his Associate Professor in 2002. He was a Senior researcher of the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology from 2003 and retired in 2007.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Lan Cuong is considered the founder of modern antiquities in Vietnam. He used to hold the position of General Secretary of the Vietnam Archaeology Association.
During his lifetime, Mr. Nguyen Lan Cuong devoted his entire life to researching the origin of people in Vietnam.
He has researched and processed more than 1,000 sets of ancient remains, which were confirmed by the Vietnam Record Organization as the person who conducted the most research on ancient remains in Vietnam - up to 1,093 individuals.
