Through a fanpage with more than 1.1 million followers, actor Quoc Truong has responded to clips advertising credit institutions and gambling, causing confusion among fans in recent days.
The actor affirmed that this is a fake image, hoping everyone will be vigilant. Quoc Truong shared: "Recently, I have received some information about individuals and credit institutions, online gambling using images and information of Quoc Truong created from AI to advertise and defraud on social networks. I affirm that all are impersonation. I have never and will never cooperate with such units and organizations.
Khac Viet
Previously, social networks also spread a clip suspecting Khac Viet of advertising gambling. He said that it was a fake video, using deepfake techniques to graft faces and voices to scam.
Khac Viet affirmed: "I have never and will never participate in or advertise for gambling activities". He called on the audience to stay alert, not believe, not share, and not access any suspicious links. He also said he would ask the law to intervene if necessary.
Khanh Phuong and Chau Khai Phong
Having appeared in a clip with the name "Bao Lasvegas", mentioning online gambling investment, both Khanh Phuong and Chau Khai Phong confirmed that their sound was edited and hidden to create disguised advertising content.
The two artists took the case to a lawyer to collect evidence, and stated that "slander individuals will be responsible before the law".
People's Artist Thanh Nam
People's Artist Thanh Nam once spoke out because someone used his image to advertise fake gambling sites. He affirmed that this was not his real image and was not related to any advertisement, repeatedly requested editing and warned the audience to be vigilant.
Ly Hai - Minh Ha
On June 9, 2025, Ly Hai - Minh Ha posted a warning on their official fanpage (7.3 million followers), asking the community to report fake content.
They warned that a clip using AI technology with images and voices very similar to Ly Hai appeared, in which a fake call to participate in gambling and recruiting jobs at home to scam.
Minh Ha emphasized: "This is a completely fake clip, sharing fake links and videos in the comments section for everyone to report and warn the community".
Previously, in 2024 and 2023, Ly Hai - Minh Ha have repeatedly spoken out about being impersonated through fake fanpages, scammed for casting or advertising drugs, and casting the film "Flip Side 8" for profit.
