MANBO is considered a rapper with good skills. Coming to Rap Viet 2024, GERDNANG including HIEUTHUHAI - HURRYKNG - Negav are all prominent names. MANBO shared that he once felt left behind compared to the members of the same group.
Therefore, Rap Viet 2024 is the most suitable place for MANBO to prove his ability and make his own mark.
MANBO collaborated with female singer Orange in a performance called "The Journey Never Stops", the rap lyrics were like all the thoughts that MANBO has been holding in his heart for a long time: "Where do I have to put myself inside the five lines when the notes are played/I try so hard to be recognized but they close their eyes and ignore me".
At the end of MANBO's performance, judge JustaTee shared: "You deserve more than that. When you went to the casting in Ho Chi Minh City, the moment you missed a part made my heart almost fall out, but thank you for not giving up."
With the desire for MANBO to be able to fully develop his abilities, F.Hero chose coach Karik as the place where MANBO belongs; judge Thai VG chose coach B Ray and finally judge JustaTee decided to let MANBO become a member of BigDaddy's team.
However, MC Tran Thanh announced that MANBO was Karik's First Choice.
Full of fresh and dynamic energy, GILL is a familiar name in the Vietnamese rap community. Having fought to the Breakthrough round of Rap Viet season 1, GILL stopped in the regret of many audiences.
GILL brought the Snow on the Street performance, reminding the audience, especially the 9X generation, of their childhood when online games were just starting to bloom.
GILL successfully conquered all 4 coaches and 93% of the votes from the studio audience.
Too eager to bring his favorite contestant to his team, Coach BigDaddy immediately threw his yellow hat onto the stage, followed by Coach Karik who was also determined to win GILL by all means.
Thus, the right to choose which coach team belongs to the contestant, GILL shared: "For me, Karik is always a brother, a teacher who always guides me during my participation in season 1. However, surprisingly, when MC Tran Thanh announced that GILL would become a member of Coach B Ray's team because GILL was B Ray's First Choice, the whole audience exploded.
Rapper willistic brought the performance of Anh trai hay sai, successfully conquering 2 coaches BigDaddy, Suboi, receiving 81% of the votes from the audience. In the end, willistic became a member of coach Suboi's team.
Impressed with the performance of I love Puppy with her cuteness and collaboration with her idol, YoungPuppy, Luong Bich Huu. YoungPuppy received 3 votes from 4 coaches and 84% of the audience's votes. After that, the female rapper belonged to coach B Ray's team.
Impressing with the performance Mong Mo, LEFT HAND became a member of coach BigDaddy's team.
At the end of episode 2 of Rap Viet 2024, Coach B Ray brought home contestant GILL and female rapper YoungPuppy, bringing the total number of members of his team to 3.
Coach BigDaddy successfully recruited LEFT HAND and An Roy$8386, bringing the total number of members on his team to 4.
Coach Suboi recruited Willistic; Coach Karik owns MANBO.
