Attending the Conference were musician Do Hong Quan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Le Khac Nam - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, representatives of the Department of Performing Arts, Vietnam Musicians Association, musicians and artists from all regions of the country.
According to musician, Major General Nguyen Duc Trinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association, the Vietnam Music Awards aim to honor musicians, artists and outstanding musical creations in the fields of: Composition, performance, critical theory and training, thereby continuing to encourage musicians, artists, critical theorists, music teachers to continue to create and contribute to the country's music in particular and the country's cultural and artistic development in general.

Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh emphasized that in 2024, the Vietnam Music Awards will be organized in a new way with a large scale and a performance program. Regarding the awards, this year, for the first time, there will be an additional category called the Golden Sol Award to honor musical products with high artistic value and many contributions to the development of Vietnamese music.
This year, the Organizing Committee received 241 works from 241 authors who are members of the Vietnam Musicians Association from all provinces and cities across the country. Of these, 202 were vocal works, 23 were instrumental works; 16 theoretical works and 59 performance programs of various categories (32 MVs, 13 albums, 14 live concerts).
Through the selection, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 A prizes, 25 B prizes, 27 C prizes, 13 Encouragement prizes, 5 Golden Sol prizes, 2 Silver Sol prizes and a Certificate of Merit for 1 performance program, a total of 77 prizes.

In which, the A prize belongs to the song "Light up Vietnam" (Le Tu Minh), the song "Hai Phong in my heart" (Duy Thai), the song "Sweet dream" (Tran Quoc Dat), the book "Nguyen Dinh Thi with music" (Nguyen Thi Minh Chau).
The 5 Golden Sol awards are the MV “Nhat bai thien dia” (author The Flob, director Nguyen Minh Quang); the album “Nhung con song ngon tay” (author Tran Duc Minh, singer Ha Tran); the live concert “Co doi lan” (Duc Tri).
The Golden Sol Award for Best Singer went to singer Tung Duong, and the Golden Sol Award for Dedicated Artist went to saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan.
