The exhibition program was held at the Nguyen Du Memorial Site National Special Monument (Tien Dien Commune, Ha Tinh Province). This is one of the activities to celebrate the 260th anniversary of the birth of the Great Sphinx Nguyen Du (1765 - 2025).
The theme displayed and introduced more than 250 valuable documents, artifacts, and images, systematically and vividly reflecting the life, career, and literary heritage of Nguyen Du; at the same time, introducing the typical tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Ha Tinh province.
This is the result of a long-term and continuous collection, research and preservation process over 60 years, associated with the 60 years of formation and development of Nguyen Du Memorial Site (1965 - 2025). The exhibition space is organized scientifically and reasonably, creating favorable conditions for the public to visit, research, and learn; thereby contributing to raising social awareness, especially the younger generation, about the sustainable value of Nguyen Du heritage in contemporary cultural life.
Through the exhibition, we hope to continue to spread more widely the great value of the heritage of the great poet Nguyen Du in social life; thereby arousing pride, sense of responsibility and cooperation of the entire political system, business community, intellectuals, artists and especially each Ha Tinh resident in the work of preserving, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the homeland, Mr. Nguyen Viet Truong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh - delivered the opening speech.
The great poet Nguyen Du, born in 1765, an outstanding son of his hometown Tien Dien, Ha Tinh, is a cultural figure with a wide influence in the country and internationally. His huge and unique literary heritage, especially the Korean drama, has become a profound crystallization of humanistic ideology, the aspiration for justice, humanity, aesthetic values, oral art and Vietnamese cultural courage.
In the history of folk literature and art, Nguyen Du is an outstanding star beyond time. His creative career has reached a peak in ideology and art, in which Truyen Kieu is a masterpiece of global value, with enduring vitality and the ability to strongly spread in the cultural and spiritual life of humanity.
