On May 8, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13,55 - May 13, 2025) and to celebrate the Red Phuong Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, the City Museum and Library in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Museum organized a thematic exhibition "Hai Phong - Trust and Aspiration to Rise Up".
Attending the opening program were Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Minh Cuong City; Deputy Director of Pham Dinh Phong Cultural Heritage Department; Director of Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi Hoang Mai; Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha; representatives of relevant departments, agencies and units.

The exhibition theme of nearly 400 images, documents, and artifacts is divided into three parts with content arranged in order of time: Bringing our efforts to liberate us (1888-1955); Hai Phong - City of bravery, Resolut to win (1955 - 1975) and Hai Phong - Reaching heights (1975 - 2025). Among them are many valuable documents that are being released to the public for the first time.
The images and documents at the exhibition emphasize and highlight historical turning points, important events, typical and heroic achievements of the Party Committee, army and people of the city in the process of protecting, building and developing the country in general, Hai Phong city in particular.
The Party Committee and people of Hai Phong city always remember and deeply engrave His precious teachings. These are extremely valuable heritages, a guideline for all actions of the cadres, party members, army and people of the heroic port city, affirmed Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong Tran Thi Hoang Mai.
