On the evening of November 24 at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village (Doai Phuong Commune, Hanoi), the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Ethnic Solidarity - Cultural Heritage Week 2025 officially took place.
This is a meaningful annual event to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) and Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).
The opening ceremony was attended by Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien; Party Central Committee member, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga and representatives of leaders of ministries, central departments, central branches, local leaders, Ambassadors, Ambassadors, representatives of diplomatic agencies and international organizations in Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his confidence that the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" and the 2nd Muong Ethnic Culture Festival - 2025 will be a great success, clearly demonstrating the spirit of each person as a Cultural Ambassador; and affirmed the will to join hands to build a prosperous and happy life for ethnic minorities.
At the same time, continue to affirm and promote the position of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, a common home of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, contributing to spreading the image of Vietnam, rich in historical traditions, imbued with national identity, culture, friendliness, humanity and compassion to all international tourists and friends.

In particular, at the event, the Prime Minister called on the entire people to unite and have a heart for the Central region, demonstrating the spirit of great national unity, comradeship and compatriotism.
I call on us to join hands to be united, united, and share the hardships with the people of the Central region in difficult times. I am confident that today, businesses, businessmen, and philanthropists will continue to contribute and help our beloved people in the Central region overcome difficulties and challenges. I believe that with the strength of national solidarity, with a fulcrum of the people making history, we will together overcome difficulties, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized.

In the program with the theme "Solidarity - Towards the Central region", delegates attending the ceremony watched a report reflecting the damage to people and property in the Central provinces and Central Highlands that suffered heavy damage due to floods.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung commented: "The opening ceremony took place at the right time when the Party and State are directing to overcome the severe consequences caused by floods in the Central region, we deeply believe that to realize that belief, it is necessary to have the joint efforts of the whole society in this special week".
Within the framework of the program, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a fundraising campaign to support people in flooded areas. The total amount of support updated to 9:00 p.m. on November 24, 2025 is 540.5 billion VND.
In addition to the direct contribution at the opening ceremony, the organizing committee continued to call on delegates, people and television audiences to support through the form of QR code scanning, spreading the spirit of mutual love and joining hands to share with the people of the Central - Central Highlands.
