For the first time, Vietnam Television VTV is implementing a live television project about wildlife called "VIETNAM WILD LIVE".

The project "VIETNAM WILD LIVE - Connecting Nature, spreading awareness!" is implemented by Vietnam Television to help domestic and foreign audiences better understand the precious, beautiful and biodiversity natural resources of Vietnam.

This is also the first time VTV has implemented a project broadcast live at Con Dao National Park, starting from June 25 to 30 on VTVgo and digital platforms of Vietnam Television Station.

According to data from the General Department of Forestry and Forest Protection, our country currently has 172 special-use forests including: 36 National Parks; 55 Nature Reserves; 18 Species and Habitat Conservation Areas; 63 landscape protection areas, cultural and historical relics.

Con Dao National Park (NP) belongs to the special-use forest system, is 1 of 36 national parks of Vietnam. The Management Board of Con Dao NP has made efforts to preserve and conserve biodiversity resources of forests, seas, and wetlands and has been highly appreciated and recognized by prestigious international and domestic organizations for the titles of Con Dao NP.

According to journalist Nguyen Thu Ha - Head of the Topic - Science and Education Department, Vietnam Television Station, the idea for the program "Vietnam Wild Live" was cherished by the crew for many years and the first destination chosen was Con Dao National Park.

We want to bring nature closer to the public and the public can enjoy, admire, and understand more about the beautiful nature of the country, thereby increasing the spirit of nature protection and love for the country.

In consecutive live sessions in Con Dao, audiences will not only observe a single moment, but also follow the entire journey of the creatures: from eggs waiting to hatch, to natural challenges even in the most normal behaviors.

Experts, journalists and photographers who have in-depth research on Con Dao will be guest commentators and live commentators in the program such as journalist Do Doan Hoang, 2 photographers Vo Rin and Thuy Linh, Tran Dinh Hue...

In which, expert Nguyen Khac Pho - Director of the Con Dao National Park Management Board said that Con Dao is not only a land containing sacred historical values but also a place to preserve the extremely precious biodiversity resources of the country.

“Preserving the ecosystem at Con Dao NP is not only the responsibility of the Park itself, but also requires the joint efforts of the locality as well as media and press agencies to jointly preserve this precious island, towards the goal of green and sustainable development in the future” - Mr. Nguyen Khac Pho emphasized.

For the first time in Vietnam, wildlife is not only retold through pre-made footage, but also present directly before the audience. With "Vietnam Wild Live", Vietnam Television promises to bring a bridge connecting people with nature, so that from understanding will form a sense of preservation, from concern will spread responsibility to preserve the precious biodiversity values of the country and the world.
