On April 23, the Journal of Agriculture and Environment (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) organized the launching ceremony of the Campaign for literary and artistic creation on Agriculture and Environment with the theme "Sewing golden sunshine seeds", and at the same time launched the Campaign to collect historical documents and artifacts of the Agriculture and Environment sector.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Phung Duc Tien emphasized that these 2 campaigns have profound humanistic and historical significance: "Through more than 8 decades of formation and development, the Agriculture and Environment sector has always played a role as a "support" of the economy, associated with the history of struggle, construction and defense of the Fatherland. From rudimentary tools such as plowing and harrowing, sickles from the early days to high-tech agricultural models, modern green agriculture today is a long and proud journey and we cannot forget the contributions of previous generations.
If collecting documents and artifacts is preserving the past, then literature and art are the thread connecting emotions to the present and the future. With the Literary and Art Creation Campaign on Agriculture and Environment with the theme "Sewing golden sunshine seeds", we want to find works of art that honor the beauty of nature, the diligence of farmers and the aspiration for innovation of the young generation".


With the theme "Sewing golden sunshine seeds", the organizers expect each work to be a "seed" of faith, gratitude and empathy for nature and people. The literary and artistic creation campaign on Agriculture and Environment for Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, as well as foreigners living, studying and working in Vietnam. The entries belong to 3 categories including songs, poems and memoirs.
The content of the works focuses on reflecting the role and mission of the Agriculture and Environment sector; new rural life; typical examples in protecting resources, environment and sustainable agricultural development.
The time to receive entries is from April 23, 2026 to the end of August 30, 2027. It is expected that the closing and award ceremony will be held in November 2027.
For the Campaign to Collect Historical Documents and Artifacts, the goal is to collect, preserve and promote the value of documents and artifacts through the development periods of the Agriculture and Environment sector. This is also an important basis for display and exhibition work, towards building the traditional space of the sector in the coming time.
The collected documents and artifacts range from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, from production tools, farming materials to documents and images on the environment, climate change and biodiversity. The reception activities take place from May 2026 to August 2027 in many forms such as donation, lending or digitization.
