On May 18, a girl residing in Wichit Ward, Phuket, filed a complaint against the three organizers of the Miss Diamond Thai Silk 2025 contest for not giving bonuses, according to Thaiger.
According to the complaint filed with Phuket Police, the woman - along with three other beauty pageant winners - said the event took place on the evening of May 17 at the Boat House, Boat Lagoon, Phuket, organized by three individuals named Aom, Joy and Tan.

Previously, contestants paid a competition fee of 1,000 baht through a Facebook fanpage and were promised prizes including: first prize of 20,000 baht (about 14 million VND), second prize of 15,000 baht (about 10.5 million VND), third prize of 10,000 baht (about 7 million VND), consolation prize of 5,000 baht and a "Loved Beauty" prize worth 5,000 baht (about 3.5 million VND).
However, after the program ended, the organizing committee suddenly disappeared, not giving awards as promised.
The contestants said they could not contact anyone in the organizing committee, and their phone numbers and social media accounts were even blocked.

The contestants reported and made a record at Phuket City Police as a basis for handling according to regulations.
According to Lao Dong on May 19, the Facebook fanpage "Miss Diamond Thai Silk" - where the contest information was posted - has now deleted all related content and images.
Currently, local authorities are verifying and continuing to clarify the incident.
