Since the beginning of 2025, Ha Long International Passenger Port has welcomed four cruise ships, carrying nearly 6,000 tourists, mainly from Europe and the US.
According to the plan, Quang Ninh is expected to welcome about 60 cruise ships in 2025, carrying nearly 90,000 international visitors, an increase of 1.3 times compared to 2024.
In addition to the luxury cruise ships that have visited Ha Long such as Celebrity Solstice, Mein Schiff 6, Westerdam, in 2025 there will be many new ships such as Brilliant Lady, Luminara, Mediterranea docking at the port. In particular, during the peak period of November 2025, there are expected to be 3 Bac Hai - Ha Long cruises per week.
It is forecasted that in the coming years, the number of cruise ship passengers to Ha Long will grow steadily by 15-20% per year, with the regular presence of major shipping lines. This will be an important driving force, contributing to making Quang Ninh become the leading sea tourism center in the region.
