On July 31, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee officially issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2. 9. The series of events takes place from mid-August to early September, right during the 5-day holiday, with many large-scale cultural and tourism activities.
The highlight is the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Heritage Culture Festival and Hot Air Balloon Festival, taking place from August 28 to September 1. Within the framework of the event, there will be hot air balloon performances, cultural heritage space, trade and culinary fair - OCOP, survey of tourist destinations, Ca Mau Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2026 and many cultural and tourism promotion activities.
On the evening of September 2nd, the province organized an art program to celebrate National Day in combination with the announcement of the completion of construction of 1,069 houses for poor households and households in difficult housing circumstances in the area. At the same time, Ca Mau also hosted the 30th Regional Fine Arts Exhibition VIII, organized provincial-level sports festivals and art performance programs to serve people.

In parallel with cultural activities, the province will organize visits and incense offerings at martyrs' cemeteries and memorial areas; visit and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, children and social protection beneficiaries. Visual propaganda and encouragement work is also widely deployed throughout the area.
According to Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, the series of activities aims to create a joyful atmosphere during the National Day holiday, while promoting the local image, attracting tourists, promoting investment and contributing to promoting tourism development during this year's holiday.
