Sóc Trăng - Nhà dưỡng lão Đức Thọ - Nhà dưỡng lão tư nhân ở thị xã Vĩnh Châu (tỉnh Sóc Trăng) được một người dân ở địa phương bỏ ra số tiền tương đương 400 lượng vàng (thời điểm năm 2007) để xây dựng. Người đàn ông giàu lòng nhân ái ấy là ông Ngô Đoan Thanh. Mặc dù sau khi đưa vào hoạt động không lâu người sáng lập đã qua đời vì bệnh, nhưng hơn một thập kỷ qua, nơi đây vẫn duy trì hoạt động và đã cưu mang hơn 200 cụ già có những hoàn cảnh hết sức đặc biệt, khó khăn, khốn khổ… được nương tựa ở tuổi xế chiều.
