A representative of the Long Khanh City Labor Federation said that although many businesses have a high demand for labor recruitment, because at the end of the year, workers rarely "job hop" and wait for their salaries and bonuses, labor recruitment usually only takes place vigorously after Tet when workers return to work.
According to information from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Nai province, from now until the end of 2024, enterprises and production facilities in Dong Nai province need to recruit from 15,000 to 18,000 workers. At the same time, the Dong Nai Provincial Employment Service Center also recommends that businesses strengthen policies to retain workers before and after Tet. In particular, in addition to improving employment and income, it is necessary to pay attention to accommodation, travel, and the needs and thoughts of workers, to avoid labor shortages when orders increase and production stabilizes.
