On March 29, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province issued Plan 744/KH-UBND to implement Directive 37-CT/TW of the Secretariat on innovation of vocational training for rural workers.
The goal of the plan is to attract over 3,000 rural workers to learn a trade each year. Thereby, increasing the rate of workers with degrees and certificates to 25% by 2030, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of agriculture.
To achieve the goal, the province will step up propaganda to raise awareness of the role of vocational training. The teaching content will be flexible, closely following reality. Digital technology will be applied, facilities and training equipment will be modernized to improve teaching quality.
The province will also mobilize and effectively use resources to ensure the best conditions for vocational training.
This plan not only improves the quality of human resources and increases labor productivity but also creates sustainable jobs, contributing to poverty reduction and stabilizing people's income.
This is also an important step in shifting the labor structure and developing sustainable agriculture in Gia Lai.
