According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Lao Cai province, in the 2025–2026 school year, the locality will recruit a total of 1,958 teachers. Of these, 463 targets will be implemented in the form of exams, and 1,495 targets will be considered for admission.
Lao Cai has a need to recruit 260 preschool teachers, 535 primary school teachers, 872 secondary school teachers and 291 high school teachers. The recruitment exam is organized in two forms: exam and selection.
With the entrance exam, candidates must go through a general knowledge test in the form of computer quizzes and a professional skills test in the form of writing.
For admission, the first round checks the application conditions through the registration form, and the second round tests professional qualifications.
At this recruitment, the Lao Cai Provincial Recruitment Council received 2,116 applications. Up to now, the province's education official recruitment exam has been completed.
Also in the 2025–2026 school year, Dien Bien province has a plan to recruit 302 educational official quotas.
In which, preschool level recruits 101 quotas, primary level 104 quotas, secondary level 97 quotas. In addition to teachers, the quotas also include accounting, clerical, library, student counseling and equipment and laboratory staff.
In Lai Chau, the Department of Education and Training of this province plans to recruit 67 civil servant quotas, including 64 grade III high school teachers teaching multiple subjects and 3 common professional staff quotas.
Notably, the locality allocated 23 targets to recruit ethnic minorities and 2 targets for selected graduates.
Meanwhile, the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang province announced the plan to recruit and receive 488 education officials in 2025. Among these, 144 targets are implemented in the form of receiving officials, 344 targets are recruited in the form of consideration.
The targets are allocated to all levels of education from preschool to high school and continuing education.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang, the subjects admitted to become civil servants are those who have at least 5 years of working experience at public educational institutions in the province, fully meeting the standards and professional qualifications according to regulations.
