Through review, the total number of temporary and dilapidated houses to be demolished in 2025 in Yen Bai province is 2,208 houses 1,815 newly built houses, 393 houses repaired) with a total cost to be mobilized for implementation of 120,690 million VND. Of which, there are 272 households of meritorious people and relatives of martyrs; 1,936 households of poor households and near-poor households.
Up to now, Yen Bai has had nearly 1,800 houses started construction according to the Project. To promptly support localities in implementing housing construction, the province has temporarily provided over 42,850 million VND to localities to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area from the provincial budget, local savings of 5% in 2024 and from the "For the Poor" Fund.
Regarding the Labor Export Project of Yen Bai province, in 2024, the whole province exported 901 workers (reaching the highest in the past 5 years).
As of March 17, the whole Yen Bai province sent 180 workers to work outside, focusing on markets such as: Korea, Japan, Taiwan... Of which, the number of poor households and ethnic minorities accounted for 54%. 9/9 districts have workers working abroad.

Concluding the Conference, Vice Chairwoman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Vu Thi Hien Hanh praised the efforts of departments, branches and localities in implementing the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households as well as the results of sending workers to work abroad.
Regarding the Housing Support Project for Poor and Near-poor Households in Yen Bai Province for the period 2023-2025, to ensure the completion of the set goals, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh suggested that departments, branches and localities urgently start construction of houses, ensuring completion progress before June 30, 2025.
Regarding the plan for 2025 to send 1,200 workers abroad and students to participate in the training cooperation program, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province suggested that sectors and localities need to review and determine labor export needs, focusing on discharged youth, soldiers, and workers from poor and near-poor households.
Along with that, pay attention to organizing training conferences on implementation and guidance on the implementation of labor export policies for localities.
