On October 16, Cao Bang Provincial Police held a conference to summarize Resolution No. 12-NQ/DUCA of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and Directive No. 11/CT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security on promoting the building of the Commune Police force to meet the requirements in the new situation. Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Director of the Provincial Police chaired the conference.
The report at the conference showed that the work of building the Commune Police force in recent times has been closely monitored and directed by Party committees and authorities at all levels.
The goals set out in the Resolution and Directive have been basically completed, many targets are ahead of schedule, contributing significantly to ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.
Currently, each commune has an average of 28.4 cadres, of which 153 investigators are deployed at the commune level. The Commune Police force has promoted its core role in ensuring security and order, improving the effectiveness of advising local Party committees and authorities and promoting the movement of All People's Protection of National Security.
At the conference, the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department organized a direct dialogue with the Commune-level Police to remove difficulties, receive proposals, recommendations and orient tasks in the coming time.
5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement to build the Commune and Town Police were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Provincial Police.
In his concluding remarks, Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh acknowledged and praised the achieved results, and requested the units to continue to seriously implement the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security.
Focus on strengthening the Party organization, improving capacity, investing in facilities, equipment and promptly resolving problems so that the Commune Police can successfully complete their tasks and maintain peace for the people.
