On July 16, in Thanh Hoa province, the Ministry of Public Security organized the opening ceremony of the 1st National Excellent Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, year 2026, Northern region.
Attending the opening ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Steering Committee of the contest; representatives of leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and police of localities with participating teams.
Speaking at the opening, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen affirmed that after more than 2 years of implementing the Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, this force has been gradually consolidated, promoted its effectiveness and become the core force supporting grassroots-level police in ensuring security and order.
According to Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen, the contest is an opportunity to honor effective models and ways of working in the activities of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
This is also an opportunity for teams to exchange, exchange experiences, improve knowledge, professional skills and the ability to handle situations arising in practice.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security requested the teams to strictly comply with the competition rules, promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, honesty and successfully complete the exam contents.
The contest takes place in two days, July 16 and 17, with the participation of 17 teams from provinces and cities in the Northern region. The teams compete in three categories including talent, knowledge and situation handling.
