On December 8, regarding the incident of two children being chained by their father and locked in a dirty room in Ea Ktur commune, Dak Lak province, the family said they had previously submitted a report.
Relatives of H.H.N.N (born in 2014) and H.L.N.N (born in 2017) said that they have been tortured by their father for a long time. In this situation, on October 10, 2023, the family on the out side filed an emergency report to the local government.
The petition stated that Ms. H.T.N was married to Mr. N.T.D and had two children, H.H.N.N and H.L.N.N. In 2019, Ms. H.T.N unfortunately died in a traffic accident. About 10 days later, Mr. D came to take his two children away and then passed away. The family on the out side searched many times but to no avail.
On October 4, 2023, the family received a report that the two children were locked up in a room in Ea Tieu commune by their father, who had not been exposed to light for a long time.
Currently, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune have directed the Commune Police to urgently investigate and consolidate the case file for handling according to regulations.
Relatives of the two children added that after being rescued and brought back to care, their health and spirit have improved. However, H.H.N.N still showed signs of confusion and was not as flexible as normal children.
On December 6, the family took the two children to the hospital for a follow-up examination and was diagnosed by the doctor that both had an open tricuspid tricuspid (1/4).
Previously, on December 1, Ea Ktur Commune Police received a report that H.H.N.N (born in 2014) and her younger sister H.L.N.N (born in 2017, with the mother's family) were locked up in their room by their father, and one child had his legistics stung.
Immediately afterwards, the police arrived at the scene to verify and discovered both children locked in a rotten room, and summoned Mr. N.T.D to work.
Working with the authorities, Mr. D stated that the children's mother had died in a traffic accident, and the two had dropped out of school. Because he had to go to work every day, he locked his child's leg in the room.
