The People's Committee of Phu Tho province recently issued a decision to promulgate the Regulations on office culture at agencies and units in the area.
The decision of the Provincial People's Committee sets out requirements and standards on spirit, working attitude; standards of ethics, lifestyle; standards of behavior for superiors, subordinates, colleagues and people; language, communication attitude, behavior and use of phones... of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers when performing their duties.
Notably, regarding clothing, when performing their duties, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers must wear neat and polite clothing.
The outfit must be suitable for the nature of the work, the characteristics of the industry and the pure style and customs of the nation (queasy clothes, shirts, a dress over knee, not too high, no folding dresses, no folding shirt, no cow's pants, no folding T-shirts; wear shoes or sandals with tailprints).
Encourage cadres, civil servants, and public employees to wear comple, Caravat straps; traditional ao dai at the office or office uniforms. For cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers receiving people, working at the reception and return of results department under the one-stop mechanism, it is encouraged to have their own uniforms to ensure civilization and politeness.
For industries with separate regulations on clothing, they must comply with industry regulations.
The decision of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province also sets out regulations on the arrangement of office premises of agencies and office buildings.
The decision was issued with the purpose of building and implementing office culture to form a standard, professional, responsible, dynamic, transparent and effective working style and guidelines in the implementation of tasks and offices.
Implement the goal of building a team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers with good moral qualities, dedication, honesty, completing assigned tasks well and meeting the requirements of serving the people and society.
Along with that, build a civilized, modern, and polite working environment, ensuring solemnity and improving the efficiency of state agencies.
Link the implementation of office culture with the administrative reform program, digital transformation, and digital government building; promote the application of information technology, improve efficiency and transparency in public service activities.
