Dak Lak clarifies the case of a girl being chained by her father in a dirty room

Dak Lak - A child about 9 years old was chained to the foot by his biological father and locked in a dirty room.

On the morning of December 1, Mr. Y Ngon Nie - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune (Dak Lak province) said that the unit had received information about the incident of a father fixing his daughter's leg in a dirty room.

According to Mr. Y Ngon Nie, immediately after receiving the information, the Commune People's Committee directed the Commune Police force to urgently verify the incident.

The authorities will work with the man and his family on the sidelines to clarify the cause. If the father cannot afford to take care of and raise the child, he will be considered for the supervision of the family.

Previously, on the evening of November 30, many clips appeared online recording a girl about 9 years old being chained in a messy, dirty room.

Due to the chains, the child had to eat and go to the toilet in the room. The incident quickly attracted public attention, many people called on the authorities to intervene to rescue the two children.
