Ms. Dang Thi Huyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Phu Dong commune emphasized that the investment project to build the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line is a key national transport project, of great significance in developing infrastructure, strengthening regional connectivity, promoting socio-economic development and creating development momentum for the locality.

Ms. Dang Thi Huyen requested the entire political system of the commune to focus highly, promote the spirit of responsibility, proactively coordinate closely with departments, branches, and related units of the city to effectively implement the assigned tasks.

Members of the Steering Committee, professional departments and villages need to closely follow the progress, regularly inspect, urge, and promptly resolve arising difficulties; promote propaganda and dialogue, create consensus among the people, strive to complete site clearance on schedule, contributing to ensuring the project is implemented according to the set plan.

In Thuan An commune, the investment project to build the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway section passing through the commune is about 4.1km long.

The total planned land area to be recovered is about 14 hectares, including 12.5 hectares of agricultural land related to 283 households in Kim Sen, Giao Tat, Giao Tu, Linh Quy and Yen My villages; nearly 1.49 hectares of public land; about 100m2 of residential land of a household in Giao Tu village, and 5 graves and many technical infrastructure works must be moved.

Regarding this project, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, Chairman of Thuan An Commune People's Council Truong Van Hoc requested the Commune People's Committee to direct the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board to proactively prepare the necessary conditions immediately after the landmarks are handed over, and develop a plan to implement site clearance on schedule. Units closely coordinate in relocating electricity, water and technical infrastructure works to ensure synchronous connection.

The Fatherland Front of the commune is assigned to develop a plan for propaganda, dialogue, and mobilization of each household to create consensus in project implementation.

The workload ahead is still very large, but with the synchronous involvement of the government, relevant units and the consensus of the people, Thuan An commune is determined to remove each "bottleneck" in site clearance work, creating conditions for key infrastructure projects to be implemented on schedule; contributing to expanding development space and promoting regional connectivity in the coming time.
