An Phu intersection
Started at the end of 2022, An Phu intersection has a total investment of more than 3,400 billion VND, designed with 3 floors including a tunnel, overpass and connecting road branches.
The project was initially expected to be completed by the end of 2025, then postponed to the third quarter of 2026 and is currently adjusted to the third quarter of 2027. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the total project volume reached about 75%.

Many items have been completed such as overpasses for cars turning right from the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway down to Mai Chi Tho, underpasses connecting Mai Chi Tho with the expressway, branches of bridges N3, N4, Ba Dat bridge and Giong Ong To bridge.
When completed, An Phu intersection will increase connectivity in the East of Ho Chi Minh City with the expressway, Long Thanh airport and Cat Lai port, contributing to reducing congestion in areas with high vehicle density.
My Thuy intersection
My Thuy intersection has been implemented since 2016, with a total investment of more than 3,400 billion VND, of which construction and installation cost about 1,826 billion VND and compensation and site clearance cost about 1,623 billion VND.
Currently, 4 items have been put into operation, including Ring Road 2 overpass left branch, Ky Ha bridge 3 left branch, My Thuy 3 bridge and left turn tunnel from Vo Chi Cong to Cat Lai port.

The remaining items are being accelerated for construction, including the two banks of My Thuy canal, Nguyen Thi Dinh tunnel, drainage system, Ring Road 2 overpass, right branch, Ky Ha bridge 3 right branch, Ky Ha bridge 4 and left turn overpass from Cat Lai to Phu My. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
My Thuy intersection connects Nguyen Thi Dinh, Dong Van Cong, Vo Chi Cong - Phu My bridge and Cat Lai port. When completed, the project is expected to reduce congestion, accidents and improve cargo transport capacity through the port.
Ring Road 3 HCMC
Ring Road 3 HCMC is more than 76km long, with a total investment of more than 75,300 billion VND, passing through HCMC, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh.
Started in June 2023, the project initially set a target to be completed in mid-2026. However, some sections are behind schedule and are expected to be completed by the end of the year.

According to the Traffic Board, the volume of the entire project reached more than 80% according to the contract. The bidding packages are focusing on constructing the final items, striving to put the entire route into operation in 2026.
Rising fuel and material prices along with the shortage of imported asphalt and asphalt concrete due to the impact of the conflict in the Middle East are putting pressure on progress and costs.
Ho Chi Minh City is requesting contractors to accelerate construction and transfer volumes for units that do not meet the progress; at the same time, build price indices and consider increasing the capacity of stone mines to ensure material sources.
Expanding National Highway 50
The National Highway 50 expansion project was started at the end of 2022, nearly 7km long, from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to the border area of Tay Ninh, with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND.
The project includes 4.3km of newly built parallel roads and 2.6km of existing route expansion. Currently, the project is constructing access roads and reinforcing the old Ong Thin bridge, with a volume of about 98%. The project is expected to be completed in December 2026.

When completed with a scale of 6 lanes, National Highway 50 will conveniently connect with the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 4, contributing to reducing pressure on the southern gateway, increasing connectivity between Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh and the Mekong Delta provinces.
