According to Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, 11 key projects in the area need to recover more than 980 hectares of land, affecting over 4,000 organizations and individuals.
After the first 6 months of 2026, only 6 projects have specific land handover volumes.
The information was stated at the conference of the Steering Committee for implementing compensation and site clearance for projects that need to be focused on leadership and direction in the province.
The conference was chaired by Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh - Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.
According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, 11 projects are included in the area of centralized leadership and direction on compensation and site clearance.
The total area of land to be recovered is more than 980 hectares, with over 4,000 cases of individuals and organizations affected.
According to statistics, in the first 6 months of the year, 6/11 projects had specific site clearance volumes, with more than 30 hectares of land handed over.
Localities have moved more than 120 graves out of the project area. There are still 5 projects that have not had land handover results.

According to Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, the progress between projects is not uniform. Some problems related to the construction of resettlement areas, approval of land price adjustment coefficients as a basis for compensation, determination of origin and land users.
The overlap between land use right certificates and cadastral records also affects the progress of inventory and compensation plans. The settlement of petitions and dialogues with people whose land is recovered needs to continue to be accelerated.
At the conference, delegates proposed that the province soon complete the resettlement area, approve the land price adjustment coefficient, and strengthen the sharing of archived dossiers to determine land ownership and handle cases of land overlap.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, requested communes and wards to strengthen coordination, share experiences, and accompany in handling problems at the grassroots level.
For areas with many key projects, the province will consider assigning specialized officials and civil servants to provide support.
At the conference, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh acknowledged that land clearance work in the first 6 months of the year had clear changes, especially in Huu Lung, Dong Dang, Mau Son communes and Dong Kinh ward.
He requested units to review data and progress of each project; develop detailed site clearance plans, clearly define responsibilities and implementation deadlines.
Units must promptly resolve people's petitions, strengthen dialogue, and clearly explain compensation, support, and resettlement policies.
The standing agency of the Steering Committee is assigned to complete the operating regulations, the plan to assign members to monitor and support each project, and report to the Steering Committee for consideration and approval before June 30, 2026.
