Gia Phuc Commune People's Committee (Hai Phong City) has just held a meeting with households and individuals with agricultural land within the scope of recovery to carry out compensation and site clearance for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project section passing through Dai Luong and Long Trang villages.
Households have been disseminated basic contents about the project investment policy, site clearance scope, regulations on compensation and support when the State recovers land as well as implementation plans in the coming time. People also directly exchanged, raised opinions, recommendations and concerns related to rights when the project is implemented.
According to the leader of Gia Phuc commune, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project is a key national transport project, of great significance to the socio-economic development of the country, city and locality.
The commune leaders requested specialized agencies, villages and households to continue to closely coordinate in the implementation process, ensuring publicity, transparency, and compliance with the provisions of law; and at the same time hoped that people would agree and support the State's policy so that the project could be implemented smoothly and on schedule.
Previously, Gia Phuc Commune People's Committee also coordinated with relevant units to organize the handover of land clearance markers to serve the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line construction investment project. The handover of markers aims to accurately determine the boundaries, land acquisition scope and safety corridor of the railway line passing through the commune.
After agreeing on the design documents and pile planting plan according to regulations, the units inspected the site, compared, confirmed the location of each boundary marker and signed the handover minutes.
The Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line is expected to connect the northern midlands and mountainous provinces with the delta and Hai Phong sea gateway, contributing to the formation of a strategic economic corridor, improving cargo transport capacity and promoting trade.
For Hai Phong, the new railway line will strengthen the connection between industrial parks, logistics centers and seaport systems, contributing to reducing transportation costs, shortening the travel time of goods, attracting investment and creating more development momentum for localities on the line.
Identifying site clearance work as a key task, in the coming time, Gia Phuc Commune People's Committee will continue to coordinate with specialized agencies of the city and related units to deploy the review and inventory of land and assets on land, creating conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.
