6 people had an accident while boating across the lake to pick corn

    Dak Lak - 6 people were on a boat across the lake to pick corn when they unfortunately had an accident and fell into the water. 5 people were lucky to escape, 1 person is missing and has not been found.

    On the afternoon of October 19, Dak Lak provincial authorities were still investigating the cause of the boat capsize at Thac Vang Lake (in Krong Na commune, Buon Don).

    Earlier, at 7:30 a.m. the same day, in the above-mentioned area, 6 people (2 men, 4 women) were on a boat crossing Thac Vang Lake to pick corn when the boat capsized. After that, 5 people grabbed onto a tree and swam to shore.

    The victim, H'Song Nie (born in 2008, residing in Ea Huar commune, Buon Don district), drowned. Afterwards, about 20 people organized a rescue operation.

    At 4:00 p.m. the same day, rescue forces and local people were still searching for victims.
