Dak Lak - Since the beginning of the year, the provincial authorities have newly built and repaired 8,915 houses for people in difficult circumstances in the area.

On September 16, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025.

After nearly 8 months of implementation, the province has completed the program with a total of 8,915 newly built and repaired houses (including 2,235 houses in the old Phu Yen area). The total implementation cost is nearly 700 billion VND.

The beneficiaries are all people with revolutionary contributions, poor and near-poor households...

According to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the results achieved are thanks to the attention and close direction of the Central Government, the high unity in the entire political system and the consensus and cooperation of the people and the business community.

Many agencies and units have proactively arranged funding and mobilized social resources to effectively implement the program.

However, during the implementation process, the province also encountered many difficulties. Many households eligible for support live in remote areas where transportation is difficult.

Construction material prices are increasing, land funds in some places are still limited. Some poor households are unable to cover additional funding, causing progress to be sometimes delayed compared to the plan.
