Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed in principle to introduce the location of the land with an area of about 30 hectares in the Urban - Training Area, services in Dai Lai commune, Dong Cuu commune, Bac Ninh province for the Vietnam Aviation Academy to study and propose the Construction Investment Project of the Aviation Academy in Bac Ninh province, and submit to competent authorities for consideration and approval according to legal regulations.
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Construction to provide specific information on the location and boundary of the above land to the Aviation Academy of Vietnam as a basis for project implementation, ensuring compliance with the Urban Sub-Zone Planning Project South of Duong River, Sub-Zone No. 1, scale 1/2000 approved.
Relevant departments, branches and localities coordinate and guide the Civil Aviation Academy of Vietnam in the project implementation process to ensure compliance with regulations.
The Vietnam Aviation Academy is a public higher education institution in the field of civil aviation, with more than 45 years of experience in training and providing human resources for the aviation industry of Vietnam and countries in the region.

Previously, at a working session with the leaders of Bac Ninh province on July 22, the leader of the Civil Aviation Academy of Vietnam said that Bac Ninh province is currently suitable to invest in building a training facility for aviation human resources and related technical and economic sectors to provide human resources for Gia Binh International Airport as well as the Northern region, and at the same time, a prestigious scientific research and technology transfer facility for aviation at home and abroad.
Therefore, the Vietnam Aviation Academy hopes that Bac Ninh province will consider and allocate to the Academy about 10 - 20 hectares of land for educational planning in the province to build a facility with a training scale of 5,000 - 10,000 students.
In the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh will form university urban areas to attract higher education institutions from Hanoi capital to move to or build branches in the province.
