On November 25, according to information from the People's Committee of Long Thanh district, for the area of construction of a closed boundary fence system covering the entire area of 5,000 hectares of the Long Thanh airport project, the locality has temporarily handed over to the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) an area of 194.9 hectares - equivalent to a length of 29.7 km out of a total length of 29.8 km, reaching a rate of 99.7%.
For the remaining area, Long Thanh district continues to review and hand over to ACV about 0.1 km.
ACV also said that it had started construction of the Long Thanh airport fence project (package 2.10) on October 25, 2024, with a construction period of 360 days to complete on October 25, 2025.
Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has proposed to soon complete the construction of a protective fence for the entire 5,000-hectare area of the Long Thanh airport project to prevent re-encroachment after clearing the land.
The Long Thanh airport project has a total reclaimed area of nearly 5,000 hectares. Of which, about 2,910 hectares is land of 5,541 households and individuals (equivalent to 7,211 cases). Up to now, the Long Thanh District People's Committee has completed the approval of compensation and support plans, reaching 100%.
Regarding site handover, Long Thanh District Land Fund Development Center coordinated to hand over phase 1 site to ACV Nam to implement the project, covering 2,532 hectares, reaching 100%.
Regarding the project of 2 traffic routes connecting T1 and T2, the land has been basically handed over.
For the T1 route, the scale is 66.45 hectares (about 3.86 km long), including 60.56 hectares/321 cases of household and individual land. Up to now, the Long Thanh District People's Committee has completed the approval of compensation and support plans for 321 cases, reaching 100%, and handed over the site to ACV for 66.45 hectares, reaching 100%.
For the T2 route, the scale is 59.68 ha (about 3.5 km long), including 50.42 ha/451 cases of land for organizations, households and individuals. Up to now, the Long Thanh District People's Committee has completed the approval of compensation and support plans for 451 cases, reaching 100%, and handed over the site to ACV for 59.68 ha, reaching 100%.
