    Ha Tinh - A local resident caught a 7kg python and handed it over to authorities to release it to Vu Quang National Park.

    On the afternoon of November 9, Mr. Le Thanh Hai - Head of the Forest Protection Department of Thach Ha district - said that on November 9, the unit received from Mr. Doan Quoc Phong's household (residing in Tay Son village, Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province) a 7kg python.

    Afterwards, Thach Ha District Forest Protection Department handed it over to Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) to release it back into the wild.

    This is a male python belonging to group IIB - a rare animal that needs to be preserved.
