Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVNHANOI) has developed a detailed plan to ensure safe, continuous and stable power supply from 10:00 p.m. on October 14 to 6:00 a.m. on October 18 at the National Convention Center and delegates' dining and relaxation locations. EVNHANOI is committed to maintaining stable power supply.
The important location is the National Convention Center, which is powered by two grid power sources with an automatic transfer system (ATS) and a backup generator, along with an uninterruptible power supply system (UPS). Transformer stations (TS1'TS5, T3, T6) with a total capacity of more than 17,800kVA ensure power supply for the hall and surrounding areas. At the same time, EVNHANOI has arranged forces to be on duty, ready to handle incidents, and repair electricity 24/24.
Accordingly, Tu Liem Power Company is assigned to closely coordinate with the Organizing Committee and the National Convention Center to inspect, operate and supplement UPS if necessary. Forecasting the load to reach Pmax of 4,860MW and Amax of 90,000MWh/day, EVNHANOI has deployed forces on duty 24/7, ready to handle incidents at key locations.
Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, and Tu Liem power companies have proactively updated information on the delegates' accommodation locations to ensure continuous power supply. The daily reporting system is implemented seriously, sent to the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Committee and relevant agencies.
With careful preparation, EVNHANOI has mobilized sufficient human resources, equipment, and spare materials, ready for any situation that may arise, ensuring a safe, continuous, and stable power source to serve the city's important event.
