On December 12, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Emulation and Reward Board of Nghe An province said that they had just announced that teachers who have not been considered for the title of provincial emulation fighter must complete their application and send it to the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board no later than December 20.
“Recently, 117 teachers have not been considered for the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter because the results of the 2024 provincial-level initiative review have not been released. After the results of the 2024 provincial-level initiative recognition were released, we notified the teachers to submit their applications for consideration for the title,” said a representative of the Nghe An Province Emulation and Reward Board.
After receiving all documents, the Emulation and Reward Board of Nghe An province will organize to collect opinions from members of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board Council, then submit to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to sign the decision to recognize cases that meet the conditions and standards.
Previously, many teachers in Nghe An province reported that they had not been considered for the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter for the 2023-2024 school year because they had not had any recognized initiatives.
These teachers submitted their experience initiatives to the school in April 2024. The school held a meeting to review and submit them to the Department of Education and Training to request consideration of provincial-level initiatives. However, by the end of November 2024, the teachers had not yet received the results of the provincial-level initiative review.
Therefore, when considering the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter, 117 teachers were not considered because they did not have any recognized initiatives.
According to the leader of the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An province, this year the consideration of provincial-level initiatives for the education sector is slower than usual because it has to go through a review process at the grassroots level.
On November 19, 2024, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An province signed a decision to recognize 290 provincial-level initiatives in 2023 in the field of education and training.
Faced with the above situation, to ensure the rights of teachers, the Emulation and Reward Council of Nghe An province said it will consider adding the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter to cases of teachers and educational managers with provincial-level initiatives in 2024.
