On March 28, Bao Loc city solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day (March 28, 1975 - March 28, 2025) to review the heroic struggle journey and the strong development of the city.
In the two resistance wars, Bao Loc (formerly B'Lao town) played an important strategic role, being the site of many fierce battles.
At exactly 10:00 a.m. on March 28, 1975, the army and people of Bao Loc completely took control of the town, contributing significantly to the Spring victory of 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country.

After the liberation day, Bao Loc faced many difficulties, but with the spirit of solidarity and determination, the city gradually developed, becoming an economic and social center of the southern area of Lam Dong province.
By 2010, Bao Loc officially became a city directly under the province, with a stable economic growth, people's lives improved, and an average income per capita of over 81 million VND/year.
In addition to economic development, Bao Loc also focuses on building a strong political system, maintaining national defense and security.

The city currently has 72 grassroots Party organizations with more than 5,400 Party members, which are the core force in the cause of building and defending the homeland.
At the ceremony, delegates expressed their deep gratitude to the soldiers and people who sacrificed for national independence.
It was a miserable, sacrificed, but heroic, indomitable and proud past that always paid tribute to the army and people of Bao Loc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Thang - Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee expressed his gratitude to generations of cadres, soldiers and people of Bao Loc who sacrificed to build a civilized and beautiful city.
He also warmly praised the results that the Party Committee, government and people of Bao Loc city have achieved in recent years.
