On November 7, Dak Lak provincial authorities continued to deploy support work for people affected by storms and floods, helping people soon stabilize their lives and overcome difficulties.
One of the localities that suffered the most damage was Dong Xuan commune, where dozens of households were seriously affected by heavy rain, strong gusts of wind and rising floodwaters.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bo, in Dong Xuan commune, shared: "When the storm hit, I only thought about tying up the house to cope.
However, the floodwaters rose too quickly, leaving the family unable to react. In just 2 hours, my house was half-flooded. The whole village had to quickly leave their assets to move to a safe place.
On the same morning, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of the Provincial Police were present at the scene of floods in Dong Xuan commune.

Here, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee praised the efforts of the forces on duty at the grassroots level.
The officers and soldiers did not hesitate to face difficulties and provide maximum support to the people on the night of November 6, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property.
Mr. Van suggested that local authorities urgently count the damage, closely monitor the flood developments and soon support people to repair their houses and stabilize their lives.

According to a quick report from localities affected by storms and floods, 2 people died (in Xuan Lanh commune) and 2 people were injured. The whole province had 12 houses completely collapsed, more than 326 houses had their roofs blown off, and 147 houses were flooded.
Regarding agricultural production, Ea Kly commune recorded 4 hectares of flooded crops. The seafood industry suffered heavy damage, with about 54,000 farmed cages damaged, with an estimated damage of about 21 billion VND.
