On April 22, the patrol team of Nhon Ly Border Guard Station coordinated with the Professional Department (Command of Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command) to catch 3 fishing boats using electric shock tools to exploit seafood.
Previously, at 2:20 am on April 21, in the water surface area of Thi Nai lagoon (belonging to Nhan An village), functional forces discovered 3 fishing boats fishing by extermination method.

The violating cases include: Mr. Vo Thanh Viet (39 years old), Mr. Luu Van Nhut (40 years old) and Mr. Vo Ngoc Duy (43 years old), both ship owners and captains, residing in Nhan An village. The two ships of Mr. Viet and Mr. Nhut are not registered.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered that all ships had homemade electric shock tools, without labels, including steel frames and a grid connecting the two frames to transmit electricity into the water.
This is a violation of the law, posing a potential danger to the lives of users, and at the same time destroying aquatic resources and seafood. The working group brought 3 fishing boats ashore, made records and proceeded to verify and consolidate dossiers for handling according to regulations.
