On the morning of March 8, in Truong Son commune (Quang Tri province), 3 early polling stations in Doc May, Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages will officially welcome voters to exercise their voting rights according to regulations. Although located isolated in the mountains and forests, with difficult travel conditions, all preparations have been completed by the locality, ready for the voters' festival.
Overcoming difficulties to prepare for elections
To get to the polling stations in Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages, the only means of transport is motorboats crossing rivers and dangerous waterfalls. Meanwhile, Doc May village has a forest-crossing road, but travel is still very difficult.

Complex terrain makes the transportation of supplies and equipment for the election encounter many obstacles. However, with the proactiveness of local authorities and related forces, early polling stations are still fully prepared, spacious, and ensure compliance with regulations.
According to the plan, due to the lack of convenient traffic, no phone signal and lack of electric lighting, the 3 villages of Doc May, Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang will hold early elections on March 8.
To ensure that the election work takes place smoothly, Truong Son commune has established working groups in charge of each village, coordinating with election teams to deploy preparation tasks early.

Party committees, local authorities, commune police and Lang Mo Border Guard Station have stuck to the area, strengthening propaganda for ethnic minorities about the policies and guidelines of the Party, State and National Election Council. Thereby helping people understand the meaning of the election, grasp the process, responsibilities and rights when participating in voting.
In addition, functional forces also focused on decorating the polling area, preparing sufficient facilities to serve the election, and at the same time deploying plans to ensure security and order in the villages.
Eagerly waiting for voting time
According to the Election Committee of Truong Son commune, 3 early polling stations in remote villages have a total of 252 voters, 100% of whom are Bru - Van Kieu ethnic minorities.

Due to difficult terrain conditions, propaganda about elections is carried out in many forms suitable to the local reality. In which, the main method is "going through every alley, knocking on every door" to inform and guide voters to understand the time and voting process.
Mr. Ho Van Ba - Head of Hoi Ray village said that although the village does not have phone signal, local authorities have repeatedly visited each house to inform people about the early election schedule.
People in the village have all known the date and time, the voting process. Everyone is interested and eagerly waiting for the time to vote to exercise their citizenship" - Mr. Ba said.

The atmosphere before the election day in remote villages has also become more bustling. Many families have prepared early to be present at the polling station on the morning of March 8th on time.
According to Mr. Hoang Manh Ha - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Chairman of the Truong Son Commune Election Committee, up to now, all preparations for 3 early polling stations have been completed.
The forces participating in organizing the election are all working very responsibly and enthusiastically. People are highly supportive, have clearly grasped the voting schedule and process, so the atmosphere of preparation for the election day is very excited" - Mr. Ha said.
Careful preparation of facilities, security and order, along with the consensus of the people, are expected to help the early election day in Truong Son commune take place smoothly, safely and in accordance with regulations.
