Recorded by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in many coastal communes of Ninh Binh province, roads leading to the polling area were cleaned up, with national flags and propaganda banners hanging. Village cultural houses, commune headquarters, and locations for election teams were solemnly decorated, creating a joyful atmosphere for the great festival of the whole people.
In Giao Ninh commune, preparations were deployed early. Election teams have completed the review of voter lists, prepared ballot boxes, documents and arranged forces to ensure security and order. Local authorities also focused on propaganda to help people understand the time and rights when participating in the election.

Mr. Bui Van Son - Head of the Culture and Social Department of Giao Ninh commune said: "Due to the characteristics of coastal areas with high humidity and a lot of wind, outdoor propaganda posters and billboards often spoil quickly. Besides, at this time, the monsoon is erratic, affecting the hanging of slogans on major roads, especially national highways and coastal roads.
According to Mr. Son, to overcome difficulties, the locality has proactively chosen suitable materials when decorating. Propaganda paintings are printed on tarpaulin material to increase durability, using steel wire to fix them more firmly. At the same time, calculate the timing of hanging and installation to ensure that the decoration is both effective and safe.
In Giao Phuc commune, in addition to decorating polling stations, the Giao Hai fishing port area also hung national flags from early morning. Located right by the sea, the fixation of flags is also carried out more carefully to avoid being torn or blown away by strong winds.

Local authorities have mobilized youth union forces, militia and fishermen to support hanging flags and renovating the fishing port area and roads leading to the polling place.
The red flags with yellow stars flying in the sea breeze contribute to spreading the spirit, creating a joyful atmosphere before the election day. According to the leader of Giao Phuc Commune People's Committee, hanging flags in the fishing port area also has the meaning of reminding fishermen that despite being busy making a living at sea, they still take time to return to participate in the election, exercising their rights and obligations as citizens.
Not only Giao Ninh commune, Giao Phuc commune; many other coastal communes in Ninh Binh province are also urgently completing the final tasks. Local authorities, election teams and functional forces are closely coordinating to ensure that the election day takes place safely and in accordance with regulations.
