On December 12, a representative of the Chu Mom Ray National Park Management Board, Quang Ngai province, said that many rare animals have appeared in the garden, typically storks, goose- breasted chickens, rosy- breasted chickens, barley chickens, red cash chickens, flying crabs, etc.
These are all rare animals; in particular, flying crabs have the scientific name Cheirotonus battarelius. This species has many legs, each leg has a sharp nail to help move smoothly.
The flying crow (flower crow, brown crow) belongs to the Canh Dinh province, so it can fly well in the forest. This animal has genetic value and biodiversity conservation, belonging to the rare group IIB, informed Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy - Director of Chu Mom Ray National Park Management Board.
In total, Chu Mom Ray National Park has recorded 1,005 animal species, of which more than 100 species are listed in the Red Book.

The garden area has a high level of biodiversity, with an area of over 60,000 hectares. Among them are many green natural forests, creating suitable habitats for many species of animals.
To record the appearance and health status of animals in Chu Mom Ray National Park, this unit has ordered a series of automatic cameras and cameras in the forest. These modern equipment also contribute to monitoring people entering the forest, thereby supporting protection work.
Previously, Chu Mom Ray National Park also recorded gaurs, horse bears, silver langurs, black-legged langurs, gray-legged langurs, brown-leg langurs, Java pangolins, monkeys, mountain turtles... All of these species are prohibited from being introduced and hunted.
