Previously, at about 5:30 am on the same day, on the 2nd floor of the house under construction of Mr. Dao Thanh T (born in 1993, residing in Ai Quoc village, Nam Cuong commune), Mr. T discovered a plastic basket, inside which was a baby girl, a blanket in the form of a white shirt worn around her body. The baby girl's date of birth was unknown.
According to information from Nam Cuong Commune People's Committee, through preliminary inspection, the baby girl weighed about 2.8kg, was about 5 days old, had no deformities, no body bruises, normal health and breathing, and other indicators were normal.
Nam Cuong Commune People's Committee has made a record of the incident and temporarily handed over the abandoned baby girl to Mr. Dao Thanh T's family for nurturing and care during the time of searching for relatives.
At the same time, Nam Cuong Commune People's Committee announced that anyone who is the biological father, mother or relative of the child, is requested to contact the Commune People's Committee directly to carry out procedures to receive the child back. After the notice period expires, if no one comes to receive the child, the Commune People's Committee will carry out adoption procedures according to regulations.
