According to this report, the whole province has conducted 8 inspections and examinations on practicing thrift and combating waste in the first 6 months of 2025. Thereby, 4 agencies were discovered to have wasteful behavior, violating the practice of thrift and fighting waste, including Hung Khanh Trung B Kindergarten (Cho Lach district), Binh Thanh Kindergarten (Giong Trom district), Giong Mieu Market Project Management Board (Thanh Phu district), Binh Dong Kindergarten (Binh Dai district), with the total value of money and assets wasted and used in violation of the regime discovered through inspection and supervision of 253.04 million VND.
Through inspection activities, a case (appearing at the Mo Cay Bac District Investment and Construction Project Management Board and the People's Committee of Hoa Loc Commune - Mo Cay Bac District) with signs of corruption was also discovered and transferred to the Investigation Agency. This incident was discovered through basic construction investment inspection activities.
"The People's Committee of Ben Tre province also found that there were not many discoveries of corruption, waste and negativity through inspection and examination activities. The reason is that corruption, waste and negativity are becoming increasingly sophisticated. In addition, some inspections of records are complicated, going through many periods, requiring time to review and verify, while the time for inspections and checks is limited," the report of the People's Committee of Ben Tre province stated.
