On August 9, Dak Lak Provincial Mental Hospital informed that at about 11 am on the same day, patient L.V.T, who was being treated for schizophrenia at the hospital, climbed onto the corrugated iron roof and escaped.
When leaving the hospital, Mr. T took a motorbike from a resident and moved from Nguyen Thi Dinh street (Thanh Nhat ward) towards 10.3 street (Buon Ma Thuot ward).
Discovering the incident, Dak Lak Provincial Mental Hospital contacted the police agency for support.
According to Dak Lak Provincial Mental Hospital, during the movement, patient T unfortunately fell off his motorbike and Thanh Nhat Ward Police approached and successfully controlled this person.
Previously, images of Mr. T driving a motorbike on the road, not wearing a helmet, holding an object resembling an iron bar were shared, causing many people to worry. Fortunately, patient T was quickly discovered by functional agencies.
