On Me Suot Street - the flooded area of the city, Mr. Quang requested forces to participate in responding to storm No. 12 with the motto of putting people's lives first.
"Review and resolutely evacuate people from dangerous areas. If people refuse to go, we must resolutely enforce it, Mr. Quang requested.
The Da Nang Secretary suggested that the City People's Committee direct relevant agencies to review irrigation and hydroelectric reservoirs, closely coordinate with investors, and request scientific and reasonable flood discharge to avoid flooding in the downstream area causing widespread flooding.
The rain is expected to last a long time and the rainfall will be heavy, many urban areas will be flooded very deeply, equivalent to 2022. I request that comrades in information and propaganda mobilize people to pay close attention, proactively preserve personal assets, move cars and motorbikes to safe places, and prevent flooding and damage," Mr. Quang directed.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang also regrets that recently, the northern provinces experienced heavy floods, damaging thousands of cars, motorbikes and people's property. After inspecting the Me Suot road area, Da Nang City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang continued to inspect other vulnerable locations.
