On February 25, Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong province inspected and fielded the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway project implementation area.
Accordingly, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong Province Ngo Thanh Danh visited Km1923+750 on Ho Chi Minh Road, through Kien Thanh Commune, Dak R'lap District. This is the starting point of the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project.
Here, leaders of departments, branches and localities reported on the route, scope of land acquisition to create a site, number of affected households, resettlement construction areas...
Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh emphasized that the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway is a particularly important project for Dak Nong in particular and the Central Highlands in general.
The project has been approved by the National Assembly in a resolution on investment policy, and the Government has issued a resolution for implementation.
In the past, Dak Nong has promoted the conditions under its authority to prepare for the project. In the near future, the Provincial Party Committee will direct the Provincial People's Committee and related units to deploy tasks, prepare sufficient funding and procedures for the project to be implemented on schedule.
Next, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong Province Ngo Thanh Danh inspected the two intersections between Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway and Provincial Road 5, in Dak R'lap District.

Here, Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh highly appreciated the efforts of departments, branches, and localities, and praised the local government for its preparation in mobilizing people, site clearance, and other related contents.
Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh requested authorities at all levels to continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilize local people to support the project.
The locality needs to promptly have support policies for cases of consensus and voluntary handover of land. For cases of intentional delay and resistance, they must be strictly handled, ensuring the overall progress of the project.
"The Central Government has directed, the locality must be really more determined. Dak Nong aims to resolutely start the construction of the expressway project, the section passing through the area before April 30, 2025, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh emphasized.
The investment project to build the western North - South Expressway, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section was approved by the National Assembly in June 2024.
The expressway is being implemented in the form of public investment combined with public-private partners, with a total investment of VND 25,540 billion. Of which, the State budget capital is VND 12,770 billion, the capital arranged by the investor is VND 12,770 billion.
