Vinh Long - Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau directed to remove obstacles for 6 households that have not handed over the Tan Binh Industrial Cluster site, and accelerate progress.

On July 10, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province - worked with the People's Committee of Tan Quoi commune on the progress of the Tan Binh Industrial Cluster project and compensation and site clearance work.

According to Tan Quoi Commune People's Committee, as of July 9, the locality has paid compensation, support and resettlement to 141/147 households, reaching 95.9%, with a total amount of more than 155.1 billion VND. There are still 6 households that have not received compensation, with a total value of nearly 13.9 billion VND, accounting for 4.1%.

Among the 6 remaining problems, 4 households proposed to re-determine the land location from position 5 to position 4 to apply a higher compensation price; one household is in dispute and the court has accepted it, and one household complained about the compensation decision.

Over the past time, Tan Quoi Commune People's Committee has repeatedly organized propaganda, mobilization, and direct dialogues with households, explaining legal regulations on compensation, support, and resettlement. Dossiers of problematic cases have also been completed and sent to functional agencies for consideration according to regulations.
