On the night of April 26, at Sam Son Sea Square stage, Sam Son City People's Committee and Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Sea Tourism Festival with the theme "Sam Son - Aspiration to shine".
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long; Mr. Do Trong Hung - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh - Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, districts, towns, cities in the province and tens of thousands of people and tourists.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Van Tu - Chairman of Sam Son City People's Committee said that in recent years, with the attention of the Central Government and the province, Sam Son urban infrastructure has become increasingly synchronous and modern, many large projects have been completed such as FLC Eco-resort Complex, Sun World Sea Square and Water Park... In addition, the Party Committee, government and people of the city have always determined the goal of building Sam Son into a civilized and modern coastal tourism urban area; a safe, attractive and friendly destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
To realize that goal, the city focuses on exploiting natural advantages, attracting investment in international-class entertainment and tourism areas; at the same time, building a civilized urban lifestyle, tourism civilization, forming a polite and hospitable behavior style, creating satisfaction for tourists.
This year, the art program with the theme "Sam Son - Aspiration to shine" is a special highlight in the opening night of the 2025 Sea Tourism Festival. The program was elaborately staged with a seamless, emotional structure, not only honoring the heritage and traditional values of Thanh Hoa, but also arousing the desire to rise strongly in each citizen and tourist.
At the end of the opening ceremony, delegates and tens of thousands of people and tourists were satisfied by the brilliant fireworks display on Sam Son beach.
