Project of refreshing coastal roads DT.719B, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section with a length of 25.6 km. Starting in November 2020, the project has reached about 80% of the construction volume under the contract. In particular, the section from the beginning of the route with National Highway 1A to Suoi Nhum bridge 17.8 km long has been completed and put into operation.
In the remaining section, there is still a 3.9 km of site clearance through the titanium mine. According to the Binh Thuan Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the total land area to be reclaimed for the entire route is 147.5 hectares with 337 records in Phan Thiet city and Ham Thuan Nam district. To date, localities have approved and paid compensation and support to 319 records.
Currently, 21.7 km of site has been handed over to the people for construction. In Ham Thuan Nam district alone, some households and especially the land related to the titanium mining area of Tan Quang Cuong Trading Company Limited have not been handed over, affecting the progress of the project.
Faced with the above-mentioned land issues, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Hong Hai has set out timelines and requested Ham Thuan Nam District People's Committee to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to complete compensation payments for the remaining households and hand over the entire land in June 2025.
At the titanium mine area of Tan Quang Cuong Company Limited, there is still a problem. The project site is divided into 4 sections to resolve. Mr. Hai requested the locality to coordinate to urgently hand over the 0.9 km long, 7.5 ha section to the construction unit in May 2025. Speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance for a 1.1 km long section with an area of 9.3 hectares.
In addition, the locality must urge Tan Quang Cuong to complete the section of about 1 km and hand over the ground in July 2025. The remaining section is about 0.9 km long, the area of 5.16 ha, currently Tan Quang Cuong Company has exploited titanium and completed the ground, the locality soon completed the procedures to hand over the ground.
Along with accelerating site clearance, the construction unit was directed to implement the motto "wherever there is a site, construction will be done", to ensure the completion of the entire project on time.

This is a key project of Binh Thuan province, connecting along coastal routes, connecting the center of Phan Thiet city with Ke Ga beach, creating conditions for the socio-economic development of the South of Binh Thuan province and completing internal infrastructure.
