Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security - attended and directed the groundbreaking ceremony.
Since the beginning of 2025, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee have had working sessions on housing development for the People's Public Security armed forces in Hanoi.
Departments, branches and localities under the Hanoi People's Committee have actively coordinated and urgently advised the Hanoi People's Committee to issue a document agreeing with the Ministry of Public Security to arrange many land plots/projects for housing development for the People's Public Security Armed Forces in Hanoi and complete procedures to start construction of 3 housing projects for the People's Public Security Armed Forces on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the tradition.
The project to invest in the construction of housing for People's Public Security officers and soldiers at 275 Nguyen Trai, Khuong Dinh Ward has been approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 2956/QD-UBND dated June 14, 2025 and has been assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to be the investor in Decision No. 5879/QD-BCA-H02 dated July 9, 2025; assigned land by the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward in Decision No. 189/QD-UBND dated July 22, 2025 and has been granted a construction permit by the Department of Construction No. 62/GPXD dated August 8, 2025.
The above milestones show the strong direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, along with the close coordination between the functional units of the Ministry and relevant agencies of Hanoi City.
The housing project for police officers and soldiers in Khuong Dinh ward is planned synchronously and modernly, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment; contributing to solving the housing needs of officers and soldiers working in the capital.
The project has a land use scale of about 3,500 m2, including 27 floors with about 400 apartments, providing accommodation for about 1,200 people.
According to Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc, the above project was started to meet the practical housing needs of CAND officers and soldiers. Thereby demonstrating the exemplary leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in implementing social housing policies, contributing to stabilizing life so that officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security can work with peace of mind and be ready to complete all assigned tasks.
The Deputy Minister requested that in the coming time, investors need to focus forces and means to organize construction on schedule, ensure technical and aesthetic quality; comply with regulations on labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection;
At the same time, it is recommended that government departments, branches and sectors continue to accompany and closely coordinate with investors to complete the project in accordance with regulations.
Yesterday (8.13), the Deputy Minister also attended and directed the groundbreaking ceremony of the housing construction project for the People's Public Security armed forces - Valenta Nguyen Xien.
