On the morning of November 3, the People's Committee of Ngoc Linh commune said that in the past two days, hundreds of officers, soldiers and people have been waving the rain, joining hands to build a temporary road connecting villages and hamlets in the area.

More than 200 officers and soldiers of the 24th Regiment, Division 10 (Army Corps4) and the militia and self-defense forces of the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command mobilized vehicles and motor vehicles to Ngoc Linh commune to participate in overcoming the consequences.
The recent flood has made Ngoc Linh commune one of the localities most severely affected in terms of traffic and people's property. Under heavy rain, soldiers and people dug up hundreds of cubic meters of soil to reopen the landslide routes.
Living, resting and staying right at the scene, the army and people are working hard in the hope of soon unblocking trade activities, creating conditions to access isolated villages and hamlets to supply medicine and food.

Currently, many roads to villages and hamlets have been cleared and temporarily repaired. The People's Committee of Ngoc Linh commune has requested Quang Ngai province to promptly organize inspections, surveys, and assessments of damage to traffic works in the area to have a plan to allocate capital to overcome the problem, because most of the large and complex landslides are beyond the commune's budget.

At the same time, the locality recommended considering declaring a state of emergency to promptly repair seriously damaged traffic works.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 0:00 on October 28, in Lang Moi village, people heard a terrible loud explosion coming from the mountain, about 4km northeast of the People's Committee of Ngoc Linh commune.
