According to the content of the letter of commendation on April 20, in the early morning of April 12, immediately upon receiving information about the fire at house number 53E/1 Nguyen Thi Thoi street, Tan Thoi Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City, officers and soldiers of Tan Thoi Hiep Ward Police promptly participated in firefighting and rescuing victims.
During the firefighting process, Captain Huynh Tuan Kiet - a Ward Police officer - did not fear danger, promptly successfully rescued a young child and took her to the hospital for emergency treatment.
